Welcome to the Datca Peninsula in South West Turkey. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty with stunning scenery and often deserted bays. In this site we want to showcase some of the villages along the peninsula as well as the famous town of Datca. Over the last few years the Government has improved the main road making the whole of the Peninsula now much more accessible from Dalaman (DLM) the nearest airport for visitors.

We have also set up a Datca Peninsula Forum so that others with more detailed knowledge of the Datca peninsula can share their experiences with a wider visitor community. In Datca you will find a vibrant harbour with easy access to the Greek islands, with Symi being the closest to Datca,

What an awesome place!I felt like a king being able to return to Villa Nurtan after being out for the day. The quality of the whole place is incredible!In between relaxing I was busy taking photos to send back home (to gloat about where I was!). An amazing place that I cannot wait to return to. I'd recommend it to anyone! It truly is a luxury villa!

On the road to Datca you will pass lovely villages and see many old windmills as well as a group of modern wind powered electric generating turbines. In Datca there are a number of olive presses and 'old Datca' is very pretty and good to wander around.

The ancient city of Knidos at the tip of the Datca Peninsula is within easy reach from Datca and is an astonishingly large city and is well worth a trip. This is a new site so please contact us with any suggestions for improvement. We have also included information on the Bozburun Peninsula which is opposite the Datca Peninsula, so within easy reach for visitors.
